The Perfect Conditions

This morning after running five miles with rubber legs and heavy lungs, up and down hills, hot and sweaty, I hit a long flat stretch with a light breeze. Ahhhh! "Now this is the perfect condition for running," I thought. "If it could just be like this all the time, I would be happy."

And it occurred to me ... that's how we want life to be. The perfect conditions so we can be happy.

What Do I Do Next?

I’ve been asking God that question a lot lately. He clearly called me to a specific ministry. He has guided through its birth and growth. I have an overall plan and some long range goals. But on a daily basis I sometimes wonder what the exact right next step is. There are so many possibilities. So many ways to approach this. I make lists in line with my goals and work through them.

But many mornings, I just sit with God and ask Him … “What do I do next?” Then I listen, I read my Bible, I make a few notes, and I ask … “Who do I connect with today?” I listen for names, I read His Word and listen some more. Sometimes I don’t get a specific plan for that day so I proceed with my list and ask Him to invade my plans with His if mine aren’t right.

You were funny, articulate, engaging, as well as transparent. Your message resonated with so many of our women, and I love how you wove both Biblical stories and your own personal experiences throughout.

From Lyn’s message, I learned that instead of dwelling on past sin, I can make it victorious in my life. I can conquer these things in my life. I feel empowered today!

I so enjoy listening to Lyn’s teaching. God uses her to speak loudly in my heart every time!

Lyn has the proven ability to say, share or ask where many would gloss over, over-generalize or not go. Lyn is clear and forthright when sharing about her self, without pretense and is not ambiguous about her past, its impact or the hope and healing that she has experienced.
