Kick Insecurity to the Curb!
Recently a dear friend shared with me that she was struggling with insecurity on that particular day. She has a big, demanding job that she loves and desires to do with excellence. She used the phrase, “feeling like I’m not enough.” I so get that! And it led me down a path of thoughts that she encouraged me to share with you.

I see this as a two-sided coin. On one side, we are enough! God gifts us tremendously for what He calls us to do. He places us in situations where we can make a difference. We have God’s goods! We need to be confident in how God prepared us and where He has placed us. We need to let our God-given abilities and passions shine the light of Christ.
On the other side, we aren't enough! None of us are, that's why God gave us Jesus. We aren't enough in our own physical strength, mental capacity and emotional fortitude to handle every challenge, every person, every need. We don't know everything and can't meet the endless demands around us all the time. So we have the Holy Spirit, whispering His wisdom in our ear. We have His power surging through us to make it through the tasks we must. We have His love and discernment to meet the needs of those God specifically wants us to. We have been called and equipped for every good work prepared for us before the dawn of time. Be confident in the One within us to carry His work in us and for us to completion - this day and every day until we go home.
His grace is sufficient. (2 Cor. 12:9)
His fullness fills us. (Eph. 1:23)
God works in us to will and to act according to His good purpose. (Phil. 2:13)
We are God's workmanship. (Eph. 2:10)
Are you living the confidence and power of the Holy Spirit? God in you has it goin' on!
